Once your signups have been captured and approved (vetted), IdealFundraising gives you various secure options to send (export) those signups to other secure locations. For example, you may want to send all your signups to your preferred ELM (External Lottery Manager) such that they can collect the direct debits and run the lottery for you. If you are an agency, you ,may want to export your signups each week to your list of charity clients. The options are all there for you and we can work to your requirements.
IdealFundraising allows you to create export definitions which define what signups you want to send (from your chosen campaign), how often you want to send (export) them, and how many different destinations you would like to send them to. The signup information that is sent (exported) can be defined by using our Visual Export Designer (VED) or for more advanced exports we can design these as an additional service.
Each time Ideal Fundraising sends signups (exports), the system can be setup to notify both the sending party and receiving party that an export has been sent. Within the notification, you can include information about the size and date of the exported data.
Once your primary export has been completed, IdealFundraising can be set up so that a secondary export can be sent to third parties. For example, you may have a third party company that carries out your welcome calls, or you might want to export the donor signatures to one of your Charity customers, and the secondary export facility will accommodate this for you.
IdealFundraising ensures that’s all your data is sent securely. The recommended way of exporting data is using Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). However, we support a variety of other secure transfers including Google Drive & Drop Box if you prefer these methods.
The private donor data that is exported, is transferred securely by SFTP to our customers and our customers’ suppliers in an encrypted format, to ensure the data cannot be read by any unauthorised parties. This is one of the undertakings of GDPR. Once the data is older than 3 or 6 months (depending on your preference), it will be automatically anonymised, such that the private data is unreadable. This is another important aspect of GDPR legislation. to minimise the risk of private donor data being compromised. With Ideal Fundraising, you can be assured that your data is always safe and GDPR compliant.
Ideal Fundraising API
Ideal fundraising comes with a comprehensive and easy to use API (application programming interface) which allows you to connect to your other software solutions for example, CRM’s, HR systems, email and marketing systems and venue systems. The API allows you to pull information such as sign ups from Ideal fundraising and also push information to Ideal fundraising from your other software solution. You will receive a simple yet detailed manual to allow you to develop the connection quickly and easily. We have designed it based on our customers needs but at a request we can extend this to cater for your bespoke requirements.
